Return & Exchange Policy
FREE RETURNS & EXCHANGES FROM WITHIN EUROPE! (Conditions apply, please read further below)
You have 14 days to return your items, no questions asked! If you wish to exchange your item(s), please follow the steps below to receive a full refund and simply order again.
Here are the steps in short:
- Log into your account and click on “Order History and Details”.
- Click on the link marked “Details” next to the order you wish to return.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return, fill out the reason for your return and click on “Merchandise Return”.
- Carefully package the item(s) and send them, using a standard carrier, to:

- We will process your request as quickly as possible and notify you about the status of your refund.
- Once the return has been approved we will refund your money, including the shipping costs (conditions below).
All returned items must arrive back at Spreading Color in their original condition.
- In a saleable condition with all labels and tags attached
- Item must be clean (no deodorant, perfume or make-up stains)
- Item must be unworn and unwashed
Please try items on with care. If you decide to return something, please ensure that it is in perfect condition. Items returned to us in a non-sellable condition, will not be refunded or exchanged and will be sent back to you.
Upon return, all items are inspected by our customer services team before your refund or exchange is processed. Please note that refunds to credit/debit cards can take between 3 - 7 business days to appear in your account.
In order to refund your shipping costs, please email us a photo of your shipping receipt.
Please follow these guidelines for your returns:
- Shipping back from Germany: please use DHL’s regular post service (not a private carrier, not express shipping & not additional insurances). Please use either:
- DHL online for parcel 2kg 4.99Euros OR
- DHL outlet for parcel 5kg 7.49 Euros
- Shipping back from outside Germany: please use regular post services (not a private carrier, not express shipping & not additional insurances). Please use DHL or an equivalent postal service with online tracking.
- In addition, if you’re shipping from outside of Europe: In the customs form, please write “return item” and a value of 1 EURO. Please keep your receipt and email us a photo of it.
- Please note the following:
- For returns within Germany: We’ll refund up to 8 Euros of return shipping costs for each request.
- For returns outside Germany: We’ll refund up to 30 Euros of return shipping costs for each request.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is defective or not what you ordered, please contact us immediately at: email@example.com
You will be asked to provide as much detail as possible, including photos so that we can quickly and thoroughly investigate your claim.
Once investigated, we will assist you with returning the item and give you the choice of getting a flawless replacement or a full refund.
Right of Revocation
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Spreading Color, Otmar Nitsche, Blumenstr. 28, 02826 Görlitz, Germany) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the electronic form on our website to do so, but you are not obligated to do so. Insofar as you return the product(s) within 14 days of the purchase you need not give any reasons for the return. We would however appreciate it if you choose to do so anyway so that we can improve our offers for the future.
Alternatively, you can also use this form to return goods. Just print it, fill it out and send it to us by mail.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
